How can the MediaMonkey Remote be improved?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Fast Scrolling & "offline" Index

    In long lists, it's custom that you're able to scroll fast on Android by having the initial letters alphabetically on the right side in order to scroll fast to some specific point. As MM is probably used by ppl with a lot of music, this would make sense. In addition it would be more than useful to save the song/artist/album index on the phone, so that scrolling won't take ages to load, as it even now takes some time if u scroll down fast. But thx for the app anyways, it's great!

  5. Podcasts

    It would be great to have the ability to select a podcast and play it from the remote. A very high percentage of what I listen to in MediaMonkey is podcasts, so this lack of functionality means I'm stuck listening to the same podcast and can only pause/play, which limits the usefulness of the app.

  6. other possibilities of operation

    Hello, I would like to control mediamonkey about my Smart Home solution, there is a possibility via http, 'POST', 'GET' commands simple functions such as play, pause, etc. to use. Or. it is possible such a function in a later version add? possibly with a fee-based token string.

  7. Make a grid view of album art as on the desktop show art setting

    On a tablet it would be nice to be able to have the art showing in a grid array style as you can on the main program (by album title or artist) so you can tap the image to add the album to the playlist as you do now with the drop menu, with a tap to open it to the tracks.

  8. Pause play also on outgoing calls

    Would be perfect if I wouldn't have to pause mm when I place a call. Maybe it's just a minor change as the functionality for incoming calls is already in place.
    Would be perfect as a seperate option.

  13. A scrollbar, so I could scroll down in seconds instead of minutes. I think it is almost perfect, but when I have a long playlist and decide

    A real scroll bar would be life saving. I think this app pretty much perfect, but I really miss the scrollbar. When I have a long playlist and I decide to play a song towards the end of that list, sometimes I got tired with the hand gestures, and wait to finally reach down to my song. There's a very narrow scrollbar appearing on the right side, but I cannot actually use it. It would be too narrow anyway. The worse part is, that most of the times I just go to that artist then look for the song in…

    i'm using mm as music server at our family business.
    i would like to have timer for play\pause by time and day (auto play at 7:00,,)
    announcments - record voice announcment and play it immidiatly on the server (to call an employee) or live speak throw the music.

  16. Possibility to show instantly the tracks after selection "Genre" or "Artist" or "Year" in the library.

    When you select a genre, all tracks are instantly displayed, not Artist - > Albums - > Tracks. When you select an artist, all tracks are instantly displayed, not Albums - > Tracks. For me, the album or sometimes the artist is not interesting when I search songs. What do you think?
