This is the "listen on" function (choose renderer) on MediaMonkey 5:

When I listen to my music, I can change where the sound is rendered just by clicking on this button and choosing the desired player.
A concrete example:
I listen to the music via MediaMonkey PCSALON but streamed on the Dell MediaMonkey 5.
I want to continue to listen to the music but now rendered on PCSALON (internal player)
I would like to do it with MMRemote
I think it could be practical for example from the player tab, via the 3 dots menu or instead of the sleep timer button or via the speaker menu. What do you think ?

I use JRiver Media Center and MediaMonkey. I recently swung more toward MediaMonkey and love that MMRemote exists, but I would really love to be able to switch output from downstairs receiver to upstairs. Gizmo remote for JRiver does this, along with MediaMonkey android app ;-)

First, Thank you for the wonderful remote for MediaMonkey, it works perfectly !!! 5 Stars+++
There is a work around for this problem.
Run a uPnP/DNLA Renderer on your phone and connect to your Speakers etc via Bluetooth.
I run 'Neutron' [Music Player +++] on my Android Phone which gives me the sound quality I require for playback & it is able to receive the output of MediaMonkey, as a DLNA Renderer, and forward onto whichever Bluetooth Speakers/HiFi I choose.
It works really well and I can fallback to directly playing tracks etc via 'Neutron' if I have to.
[This means the playing Stats are not updated, which is why I play from MediaMonkey to my phone via 'Neutron' instead :) ]The MediaMonkey remote is the perfect solution to 'driving' MediaMonkey from a distance.
The MediaMonkey Android App can do this BUT is totally unstable when connected via DLNA & Bluetooth at the same time and works 3 times out of 10 attempts.
If you are not interested in the collection of stats in MediaMonkey then 'Neutron' will work fine connecting via DLNA directly to MediaMonkey.
Gentle Warning:
=============
Neutron has a very quirky UI BUT this is the only downside as the sound output and the degree you can customise the output is huge !!! :)BTW: Not affiliated with Neutron BUT just think the output is very very good and worth the effort to learn how to use the app.

This, but also allow switching between different output devices (for example, Realtek front / Realtek back / dedicated sound card). Ideally, being able to output to multiple output devices at once would be even better.

Yep, that would be a great improvement!

Agree. This is the most useful feature that the app is missing in my opinion. Would really make it such that I didn't have to ever go to my computer to do all of the things I need to do from the remote. Please!

This would make a great app completely awesome!
I would love to be able to use my phone to switch between playback on my machine to playback on my living room amplifier. -

This is one of the most important features that is missing. I'm not sure why one would want to use Android to edit music tags, but changing the remote DLNA destination send low a perfect feature for a remote.

If I was last working on my computer downstairs & then want to listen to music on my main system upstairs, I have to go downstairs to switch outputs. It would be a great to be able to switch from MMRemote. Is this not possible?

would be a great help to deal with e.g. Sonos Systems

Even better if you could control airfoil for windows. Synchronised play back in multiple rooms using airport express adapters.

When selecting media. There are available only tracks in computer library. You can not choose track from external DLNA server which is visible in MM
