Select allowed functions in the Remote Server window
It's similar to the ideas "party mode" and "restrict librarys". Would be great to have the possibility to allow/forbit functions with checkboxes in an new folder from the MediaMonkey Remote Server window.
Especially the "play now"-function is sometimes a "party-killer".
Great extension for MM - thanks & go on!

Released with version 2.5. See Remotes => Access in the new server.

ooops - found a bug:
When reopening mmrserver he doesn't remember the "default" access rights. Always gives "default" full access except "entire computer menu".
Other devices are saved only the default is overwritten. -

Wonderful !!! Big THANKS !
Everything works great (what I tested so far)....so when testing we tried to "crash a party".
The problem is (not a problem of this solution): people are still able to add a complete Album or playlist to the now playing list. So one adds a big playlist and for hours no one else can listen to other music. Is it possible to limit adding to one track? Of course one track after an other, but not hundreds with one click - so everybody has the same chance....and people still see the whole media content of "my computer" and can start videos or other stuff, not fitting a party. Would be nice to limit access to specific folders - especially "my computer". There is already a similar post in your uservoice (" Restrict remote library to specific collection")
Sorry that i'm still not satisfied after your wonderful solution of my "first problem" *g*
Thanks & Greetings from Austria

GREAT! Especially volume-control, play now and the servers-PC (MM-DB) security would be great to make party without "headache" the next morning.
