Yesterday I voted for the "bluetooth connection", because I thought it will be a good idea to control MediaMonkey by mobile phone, when there is no WLAN.
But today I found out a better way (at least for Android):
1) Install AirDroid on your Android mobile phone
2.) within this App, activate "Hotspot"
3.) Click "Start Hotspot"-Button
3.) Connect the PC with
4.) The App will show the Network SSIP (default is "AndroidAP" and the current pass word (random).
5.) Connect your PC with the SSIP or the WLAN-Hotspot.
6.) The rest is the same as you already know. -

Addition to my post from 10. August 2016 (User "Äd Frazis"): AirDroid is not necessary. You can activate the hotspot directly in the configurations of the mobile phone, i. e. you do not need step1) And step 2 means: Search in the configuration menu for "wireless hotspot".
