How can the MediaMonkey Remote be improved?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  3. A scrollbar, so I could scroll down in seconds instead of minutes. I think it is almost perfect, but when I have a long playlist and decide

    A real scroll bar would be life saving. I think this app pretty much perfect, but I really miss the scrollbar. When I have a long playlist and I decide to play a song towards the end of that list, sometimes I got tired with the hand gestures, and wait to finally reach down to my song. There's a very narrow scrollbar appearing on the right side, but I cannot actually use it. It would be too narrow anyway.   4. Fast Scrolling & "offline" Index

    In long lists, it's custom that you're able to scroll fast on Android by having the initial letters alphabetically on the right side in order to scroll fast to some specific point. As MM is probably used by ppl with a lot of music, this would make sense. In addition it would be more than useful to save the song/artist/album index on the phone, so that scrolling won't take ages to load, as it even now takes some time if u scroll down fast. But thx for the app anyways, it's great!

    It just impossible to see if stars are set or not with current scheme... I use 5 stars most of the time...

  6. Make a grid view of album art as on the desktop show art setting

    On a tablet it would be nice to be able to have the art showing in a grid array style as you can on the main program (by album title or artist) so you can tap the image to add the album to the playlist as you do now with the drop menu, with a tap to open it to the tracks.

  12. Have "Find more from same..." option in MediaMonkey to quickly search for more tracks of the same Artist or Album.

    I know I can click on the currently playing song to search for more of the same Album/Artist. But I want that option also when browsing through my collection. In any screen, like when browsing through rated songs: I want to click Search for more of the same Artist/Album.

  13. Support Magic Nodes in MMRemote

    Magic Nodes is a plug-in that takes MediaMonkey to a whole new level. It allows you to create new tree nodes in an intuitive and highly configurable way using masks which are loosely based on the way auto-organize works. Masks could contain SQL filters, which provides ultimate flexibility for the creation of nodes with Auto-playlist functionality. There are 380 already predefined masks, for example: tracks without lyrics, artist grouped by first letter [A]-[Z], albums sorted by year, playing statistics, album ratings, random tracks.   14. Extend Previous/Next track to Android Wear notification

    Enabling a permanent notification also pushes a notification to Android Wear with album art, which is fantastic. But regardless of what buttons are set to be shown on the regular notification, the options available on Android Wear are Play/pause on the main card (working) and volume up/down on the second page (not working). Would it be possible to add previous/next track to the second page?

    Hi there! I don’t have an Android Wear, so I have no idea how that stuff works. If you could explain it very thorough, I may have a chance, otherwise, I’ll just have to wait until I buy an Android Wear (if I ever do).

  15. Ability to switch which collection AutoDJ plays.

    I have 200k songs. I only play using AutoDJ rules. Would be great to pick which collection plays from remote. I.e. kids collection, Christmas music collection, all music, pg music, etc..

  16. Turn Visualization On / Off

    Similar to the screen on /off feature already implemented. I'm a huge fan of the Mikdrop 2 visualization plug-in (as are my kids), so it'd be great to be able to turn it on without fiddling with the PC.

  17. Restrict remote library to specific collection

    I'm using different collections (e.g. music, audiobooks...). Mmremote shows all available files. It would be nice to restrict the library to show just the music collection (or filter by collection).

  20. Make the Play/Pause/etc controls available from all tabs

    The controls at the bottom of the main tab could be visible in all of the tabs, to allow us to control the currently playing music without having to return to the main tab.
