volume step control
Ability to change in setting the increase / decrease in volume per button click.
3 votesWhich button click do you mean? Currently, the only “buttons” to control the volume are the hardware buttons (if overridden in settings), and you can already change the step size for those.
I’m closing this — if I misunderstood, feel free to elaborate, and I’ll open it again. :)

Release the source code
Would you be willing to consider releasing the source code so the community can help with development?
5 votesRight now it’s far to messy, but I might consider this if I get around to cleaning it up sometime. (Marking this as declined since it’s not really a feature request. I have noted it elsewhere. :) )

Option to "Send to Android" device for sync.
My android phone is synced using MM on PC and i only store the tracks that i love in my phone. Currently i use the remote to rate a track 5 stars and then later i go to the Smart playlist in PC to have the tracks listed and i then use the option from there to sync it to my phone.
As the playlist already has a option to send to device (Atleast in MM pro), i would love to skip past the rating thing and send the track straight to my phone, which is synced with dropbox, which…
12 votesSounds like something that should be MediaMonkey’s job, not the remote’s. I’m closing this, but if somebody really thinks this should be the remote’s job, let me know exactly what you want the remote to do (I didn’t quite grasp the details, I think), and I’ll consider opening it again. :)

Play now song from divece
Love your work!!
Live Apple TV ore else,
Show the Musik fordert and stream the track...:$ i will become your pro ver.
1 voteI’m having a little trouble deciphering this one. My guess is that you want to play music from the device? If so, I’m sorry, but that’s not possible right now. I have to concentrate on features that fits on a remote, and streaming music is sadly not one of those. If I misunderstood, feel free to contact me again and explain the feature suggestion. :)

"Genius" / "Radio" function
What i really miss since moving to MM from iTunes, is the "Genius" functionality. What it does, is start a playlist based on the song you have chosen, and you get a continuous playlist of songs in the same category/genre
1 voteSorry, but that would be a job for MediaMonkey itself, not for the remote. The AutoDJ functionality mentioned in the comments sounds similar. :)

Show Now Playing on MediaMonkey DLNA server
I can't add or change song ratings via DLNA (played through smart TV). I can do this however using this app. Would be great to be able to quickly jump to the currently playing song on MediaMonkey's DLNA server so one can quickly update its rating.
1 voteSorry, as far as I know, it’s not possible to know which track a DLNA client is playing.

Browse the library off-line
Be able to seach for an album on a mobile even when not connected to your home server. This way when I see a nice offer in a music store I can check if I do own that album or most songs on it.
4 votesSorry, that falls outside of the goal for this app (which is to be a remote). Sounds like your need some kind of collector software. :)

Android Server
Would be great to have the server part on Android as well!
I was considering the following:
Have an Android tablet on my amp to play music in Party mode.
When I'm far away and to lazy to walk there, would be great to control the play list with my phone.
This would even allow to run MM on an hidden phone/tablet and be able to control it via (multiple!) phones... :)9 votesSorry, that’s not possible due to the technical limitations of the MediaMonkey player on Android (and possibly the Android OS itself).

The remote reads directly from your MediaMonkey library. If something is missing, you should make sure it is actually in your library. Others have resolved similar issues by rescanning their MediaMonkey music library.

Chromecast support for your MM library.
Being able to cast to TV from MM remote. If so cool if not keep up the great work. Thanks
22 votesHere’s one way to do it, as described by Steve:
(Unfortunately, I am unable to automate this into the remote.)
1. Download Avia on your device from the Google play store.
2. Within the Avia app, you must purchase the casting option which will
cost you $4.99
3. Now assuming that your MMRemote server, your PC,.your Chromecast, and
the device you are using are all connected to the same network.
4. You can then open the Avia app and choose media database and it will
choose MM automatically.
5. From there you will see 3 options.. you will choose music
6. Then all songs
7. All of your music library from MM will appear
8. From there choose a song or album from your MM library hit play then the
cast icon and there you go your watching and listening to your MM library
on your TV. Hope this was… -
Create a iOS 7 version!
MediaMonkey kicks iTunes' butt!
Create a version for iOS 7 now that MediaMonkey supports iOS 7.2 votesHi there!
If I misunderstood, please enlighten me. :) Yes, there is an app for iOS, but that doesn’t matter, since it’s pointless to make an app for iOS to “remote” control another app on iOS. :)
However, an iOS remote for the Windows version of MediaMonkey is still possible, but there’s already another suggestion for that here. Please add your votes to that one instead: https://mmremote.uservoice.com/forums/216825-general/suggestions/4251483-iphone-client

"Songs" added to menu
Along with Artists, Albums, etc can you add alphabetical list of songs with shuffle feature?

As mentioned in the comments, the official MediaMonkey app can do this. And since it’s not exactly a “remotey” feature, I won’t implement this at this time.

make an index stored on the phone of your music files so searching goes faster
it would really improve the app when an index is made and stored on the phone. thank you :)
5 votesI have improved the search performance a lot in the coming update (v2.5, not yet released), so that hopefully solves your issues.
As for an index, I don’t think that’s going to happen, since it’s a LOT of work for a little gain in performance.

Sorry, this is something that needs to be done on the MediaMonkey side of things. Or possibly by using third-party software such as those discussed here: http://superuser.com/questions/320259/how-can-i-force-apps-to-open-on-the-monitor-that-the-icon-is-on
