Prevent tracks to be played again for xx minutes
Hi Erlend,
would be nice to have the possibility to block just played songs for xx minutes, so a track doesn't appear twice in a certain period.
Greetings
Jooo1 voteNo reason to be sorry!
But unfortunately, yes, that is something that has to be done internally in MM. I have no control over party mode or auto dj functionality.

streaming to my handset or tablet
Would it be achieved by dlna or upnp
1 voteSorry, this has bee declined before: https://mmremote.uservoice.com/forums/216825-general/suggestions/4258313-playing-the-music-through-the-phone-tablet
It’s not really related to a remote, and there are other apps that can do the same. :)

Disable log file
Hi!
How can i disable log files?AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey Remote Server\Logs
1 voteHi there!
There is no option to deactivate logging.
Why do you want to do that?
As long as you have the newest version (2.4), the log files will never be stored for more than two days, and rarely take more space than 2-3 megabytes.
Note: if your log file is huge, you probably have version 2.0 or 2.1, where there was a bug that prevented the files from being deleted after 48 hours.
Update 2:
Huh, that’s weird. Could you send me a screenshot of your log folder (with size information of the files), and, if possible, send me the largest log file? (erlend.dahl@gmail.com, or some kind of file sharing site)
Update 3:
Alright, I’ll see if I can reproduce it anyway. If you get any problems like that again, please let me know.
For now, I’m closing this, as it’s more a bug report than an…

Support for Skip Counter (MM4)
When skipping to the next track, actually increasing the Skip Counter of the current track before moving to the next track would be consistent with the behaviour of MediaMonkey 4. It is also nice for users of auto rating scripts such as AutoRateAccurate. :)

Wake-On-LAN when phone gets in range of home Wi-Fi
It would be nice if the PC i use for media could automatically turn on when i come home, and turn off when i leave. the leaving part can be tricky but using WoL when getting into Wi-Fi range shouldn't be too difficult.
one possible enhancement is start playing when the PC finished booting.8 votesSorry, I have to prioritize, and this falls outside of the scope of this project, since it is intended to be a remote for MediaMonkey, and not every other useful thing. :) I’m sure you can find another app that can do this already!

A way to auto-complete tracks properties (title, autor, album ) or a function like TrackId or similar.
If is not posible auto complete function due to some copyright or similar, it would be a must an link to or junk to any apk like trakid, shazam or similar.
In any case thanks for your awesome work.
2 votesPlease move any votes or comments to that one.
(A wish for auto complete could, for example, be a comment on that feature request.)

Hi there!
Sorry, I don’t speak Spanish, and Google Translate didn’t really make this clear.
If you think this is something that could make the remote better, please resubmit the idea with a more thorough explanation, preferable in English. :)
Also, based on “PDF” and “CD”, which I was able to recognize, I suspect that this may be a feature you should ask the MediaMonkey people for. MediaMonkey is the media player, which you should use to manage your library, and export PDFs and so on. My app is simply a remote, and should only be used to remote control MediaMonkey. :)

This is probably a more relevant feature for MediaMonkey itself.

Removed as it wasn’t specific enough (and probably outside the scope of a remote anyway). If you really think this could be a good idea, please re-add with a better explanation. :)

Hi there!
Please send me an e-mail instead, as this is for feature suggestions. I think you can reply to this one, but if not, my e-mail is erlend.dahl@gmail.com.
To help you, I will need a description of your problem. I need to know exactly what doesn’t work, and if you get any error messages.

Closing this, as it falls under two other suggestions:
Restrict remote library to specific collection: https://mmremote.uservoice.com/forums/216825-general/suggestions/5262678-restrict-remote-library-to-specific-collection
and
better sort capabilities.: https://mmremote.uservoice.com/forums/216825-general/suggestions/4559817-better-sort-capabilities

Playlist result, group by album insted listing by track
After browsing by playlist, show result group by album.
1 voteI assume you mean Library => Playlists. The playlists in MediaMonkey is simply lists of tracks, and I don’t want to change the structure in the remote. By design, the library items in the remote is meant to be as similar to the library items in MediaMonkey itself, since it’s a remote.
