Include "play next" on tracks
Seems only play now or play last can be selected. Play next woyld be a nice option.

Server will not run
When I try to run the app in Windows 10, it says it is running already, however it is not in the tray. I can't open the app to get it configured.
I've tried to follow the FAQ, but the links to things like the windows log aren't active and I'm not sure what information you need or how to obtain it. Thanks for your help.

Password setting on server
If the server part had an optional setting to configure a password, and the remote app had a corresponding password setting, it would be possible to prevent someone else on the network from just downloading the mobile app and taking control of MediaMonkey. This would be especially useful when the features that allow things like shutting down the computer are enabled!
1 voteHi there! Sorry, I didn't see this before for some reason. With the permission system, you can in practice do this -- just make the default permissions as restricted as you want (in the server => Remotes => Permissions), then grant the remotes you want to have more permissions everything else.

It can be, depending on what you search for (the first option in the search page). I have recently changed the default option, which will probably help.

Keep your version page up-to-date
Right now, I am running MMRemote server version 2.7 and app version 2.9. Meanwhile, http://www.mmremote.net/Version/ claims that the most recent version of each is 2.6.
This is probably why my MMRemote says 'automatic update check failed' all the time.

Add Song as next in playlist.
For now it's possible to play a song immediately or put it at the end of the playlist. I'd propose a third option like in the original MM to add selected song as next in playlist.

why wifi is mandatory?

Actually, wifi is not mandatory. Some kind of connection to the server is, though. So if you don’t have a connection, it will show this error message, since for most people, it would be a wifi problem. If you’re trying to connect through other network types (for example through cell phone data), the error message simply means that it was unable to connect, so you probably need to open some ports in your router, or make sure everything is configured properly.

rate tracks from lock screen
Please add the ability to rate tracks from lock screen.
When my android phone locks I can still play/ pause/ next/ previous/ because I donated. Which is excellent functionality, thanks.
But I keep needing to unlock phone to rate tracks...
I've a massive music collection, much of which is previously unplayed & thus unrated; I wish to create future 4* & 5* play lists, so wish to rate every song I play... or hit next on.

That’s already possible! Please see “Bonus feature settings” => “Notification buttons”, and pick “Rating up/down”. :)

Sleeping funtion
Sleep feature. Just to be able to turn off music at bedtime range from 15 minutes to 120 minutes. Etc
