make an index stored on the phone of your music files so searching goes faster
it would really improve the app when an index is made and stored on the phone. thank you :)
5 votesI have improved the search performance a lot in the coming update (v2.5, not yet released), so that hopefully solves your issues.
As for an index, I don’t think that’s going to happen, since it’s a LOT of work for a little gain in performance.

Release the source code
Would you be willing to consider releasing the source code so the community can help with development?
5 votesRight now it’s far to messy, but I might consider this if I get around to cleaning it up sometime. (Marking this as declined since it’s not really a feature request. I have noted it elsewhere. :) )

The current windows server installer/download is unstable.
I have tried, without, success to use the server installer on three different laptops. They are all using the current version of windows 7. Server is unstable and fails to communicate with the android app. I replaced the current version of the server with a six month old version I had on a desktop and it works perfectly. This took a lot of work before I gave up on the current download. Love your app. Please look at fixing this
4 votesAs this is more a bug report than a feature request, I close it. However, I always try to make it more stable. Please note that a new version was released recently (December 28th), which I hope solved these issues.
Please let me know if it works better now or not! :)

Browse the library off-line
Be able to seach for an album on a mobile even when not connected to your home server. This way when I see a nice offer in a music store I can check if I do own that album or most songs on it.
4 votesSorry, that falls outside of the goal for this app (which is to be a remote). Sounds like your need some kind of collector software. :)

4 votesSorry, this is something that needs to be implemented at the MediaMonkey side of things.

This is probably a more relevant feature for MediaMonkey itself.

Removed as it wasn’t specific enough (and probably outside the scope of a remote anyway). If you really think this could be a good idea, please re-add with a better explanation. :)

Track progress bar
A bar, where you can click on specific parts of the track (you know, how you can do on PC.
3 votesHi there!
There is one already! It’s the gray line at the bottom of the screen (with “07:59” at the left): http://mmremote.net/Content/features/mediacontrol.png?v=2

Hi there!
Sorry, I don’t speak Spanish, and Google Translate didn’t really make this clear.
If you think this is something that could make the remote better, please resubmit the idea with a more thorough explanation, preferable in English. :)
Also, based on “PDF” and “CD”, which I was able to recognize, I suspect that this may be a feature you should ask the MediaMonkey people for. MediaMonkey is the media player, which you should use to manage your library, and export PDFs and so on. My app is simply a remote, and should only be used to remote control MediaMonkey. :)

volume step control
Ability to change in setting the increase / decrease in volume per button click.
3 votesWhich button click do you mean? Currently, the only “buttons” to control the volume are the hardware buttons (if overridden in settings), and you can already change the step size for those.
I’m closing this — if I misunderstood, feel free to elaborate, and I’ll open it again. :)

Strem to host
It would be nice if I could stream audio from my phone to the host. It should be kept simple though. Just add it to the playlist as the next track.
3 votesSorry, streaming from device to host is not possible without an entirely new app and server setup, which is far out of scope.

This is already implemented as a bonus feature. :)

MediaMonkey Remote server crashes
MediaMonkey Remote server crashes as soon as I open it. Have reinstalled and updated and have .net framework updated. Any ideas?
3 votesI’ll decline this, as it’s more a bug report than a suggestion (uservoice is for suggestions).
But fear not, I think I have a solution for you anyway!
Please take a look at this FAQ item: http://www.mmremote.net/FAQ/Single/?entry=startcrash

Sorry, this is something that needs to be done on the MediaMonkey side of things. Or possibly by using third-party software such as those discussed here: http://superuser.com/questions/320259/how-can-i-force-apps-to-open-on-the-monitor-that-the-icon-is-on
- Don't see your idea?
