Undo button
I keep accidentally swiping tracks out of a playlist! Maybe I'm just clumsy...
6 votesAn undo button would be complicated to make, but I think I solved the problem better by doing the following two changes:
1) You can now only fling-remove if you drag the album art. This prevents accidental flinging while scrolling, as long as you keep your finger away from the art.
2) You need to fling a little harder.Seems to work very well for me, at least. :) Coming in the next update.

Jukebox party mode
two options. have guests be able to look at library only and add songs to playlist. Master user can give guest credits like jukebox to limit one guest from adding entire library to playlist. maybe a vote feature to bump up songs. (maybe add these features in donation bonus feature)
9 votesThe new permissions feature (version 2.5) allows this. Just set permissions on the “Default” remote (or spesific remotes) to “Can see information” and “Add tracks to playlist”, but nothing else.

Widget transparency and editing
Widget transparency
3 votesThe new widget design is partially transparent. Will come with the next update. As for editing, I assume you mean editing general track details. Please add your vote(s) to the already existing suggestion about that. :)

Disable External Remote Control
Option to disable external access, outside of the home network
3 votesA feature that can be used for this was released with version 2.5. In the new server, go to Remotes => Default => Access, and uncheck all the permissions to disable all default remotes. Then select the remotes you want to give access, and check all the permissions.
Not exactly that, but I am planning a whitelist
functionality, so that you can allow only your own devices to access your server. -
Pause mm on incoming phone call.
if an incoming call is received on the phone you're controlling mm with, it would be great to have audio pausef during that call automatically. I saw this feature in retune

System tray gone?
In the older version, I had MMRemote start with Windows in the system tray. Now with the newer version, I'm forced to leave the MMRemote minimized, because if I close it it'll stop running.
1 voteYep, sorry about that. You can still minimize it by right clicking on the tray icon and clicking “Show/hide”. But I’ve re-added the old functionality (minimize on tray) too now. It’ll come with the next update (probably during the next 24 hours).

You didn’t give any details, but I just launched a new update, so I’ll go ahead and assume that fixed your problems. If not, please contact me with a bug description. :)

Tasker plugin for media and volume control
Possibly expose currently playing track and the tracks artist in a tasker variables as well
3 votesAs previously mentioned, I don’t really know anything about Tasker and how this data is supposed to be used. Since nobody told me, I made something that may be good enough.
Take a look at this FAQ entry: http://www.mmremote.net/FAQ/Single/?entry=intents

Select allowed functions in the Remote Server window
It's similar to the ideas "party mode" and "restrict librarys". Would be great to have the possibility to allow/forbit functions with checkboxes in an new folder from the MediaMonkey Remote Server window.
Especially the "play now"-function is sometimes a "party-killer".Great extension for MM - thanks & go on!
4 votesReleased with version 2.5. See Remotes => Access in the new server.

Video Playback Control
Include an option for video file playback control
1 voteThat should already work. All items that MediaMonkey can play can also be started from the remote.

This is already implemented. Just long press the Next button, and you’ll see what’s coming.

This should work better now in version 2.2 or newer. May created multiple servers for now, but I’m working on improving that.

Play button for search results
Playing a song from the search results using the long-press is somewhat awkward. Why not add a play button right there?
3 votesAt least it’s made easier now. Take a look at it when the next update appears. ;)

Allow Connection Via Cellular Network and Port Forwarding
I stream MediaMonkey to an icecast server so I can listen via bluetooth on my phone in the car to my entire library without needing to download locally. I am looking for a solution to control what is being played locally on my machine at home. Your app is PERFECT, but seems to require a local wi-fi connection to work. I set up my router to port-forward the port my remote server is running, but I cannot connect if I turn off wi-fi. I think this would be a great feature.
4 votesThis is indeed supported. Make sure the ports are correctly forwarded, and provide your app with the computer’s external IP (and again, the correct port number), and everything should work. I am doing the same myself. :)
